for valuable consideration of the terms and conditions gegen die (fingierte) wertersetzende Gegenleistung der Erfüllung der Geschäftsbedingungen Explanation: .... for valuable but not good consideration (e.g. of natural live and affection between family members). Here there is a scratching and scraping around to find a quid pro quo - also eine total fingierte Gegenleistung bzw. unechter Ausgleich zur Geltung im eng. Schuldrecht. Noch einmal, zum Zitieren unseres ehemaligen Lektors für dt. Recht an der Uni. in Südengland: 'Ha, ha! German law has done perfectly well without the English Common law concept of contract consideration!' (a contract in Eng law needs to be supported by good or valuable consideration). -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 1 hr (2020-06-10 14:12:56 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- good consideration: natural *love* and affection. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 1 jour 21 heures (2020-06-12 10:13:31 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Beim Nachdenken vermute ich noch zur wertersetzenden und nicht werthaltiger oder wertvollen Gegenleistung des 'valuable consideration' entweder 1. der Erfüllung > the client's counter/performance 2. des Abschlußes > entry into oder 3. doch der An- bzw. Abnahme > the delegate's acceptance der T&C. Example sentence(s):
