Does the USDA have a new non-GMO programme? Not really

Many articles have reported that the USDA had developed the first government label for GMO-free products. But the Non-GMO Project, a nonprofit that “offers North America’s only ***third party verification and labeling***” for non-GMO food and products, says these claims are misleading.


Ich hab es erstmal provisorisch mit "unabhängiger Anbieter von Prüf- und Kennzeichnungsdienstleistungen" übersetzt, aber so richtig überzeugt bin ich davon nicht. Bessere Ideen? Hier meine provisorische Lösung:


USA: bald neue Regeln zur Kennzeichnung gentechnikfreier Produkte?

Zahlreiche Artikel haben berichtet, das US-Landwirtschaftsministerium (USDA) habe das erste staatliche Siegel für gentechnikfreie Produkte entwickelt. Aber die Nichtregierungsorganisation „Non-GMO Project“, der einzige **unabhängige Anbieter von Prüf- und Kennzeichnungsdienstleistungen**“ für gentechnikfreie Lebensmittel und Produkte, hält derartige Behauptungen für irreführend.
