What is the context of your text exactly?

I don’t think “build” functions as a verb here.

Build could be the name of a program/school. So these are interns in the build school.

If this is the case, it could be translated as something like:

"Build-Praktikanten, die das Digital Assistent in gängigen Sprachmustern trainieren"

Or perhaps the text was written by a non-native speaker of English. Maybe the person meant “assemble” instead of “build”

His plan was to assemble a team of interns to build an awesome web application.

Notes to answerer
Asker: How do you "build interns"? It must be something that is not a person... you don't build a person
