English term or phrase: store fixture.
I am working on a translation of a manufacturer for laminates website. Under the category "Inspirations" they try to make selling points for their products for all rooms in a house. Under the category "Kitchen" they are writing the following"

Traditionally kitchens were used for only cooking; today, they have become a favorite room for talking, laughing, and sharing. Have a look at our favorite kitchens, and get simple kitchen makeover tips. See how others have mixed and matched their counters, floors, "store fixtures," and sinks.

I am having a problem with the term "store fixture" in this context. Unless there is another translation I just can't find, this term means "Ladenbau" in German.

How does this term fit into the context of this paragraph?

I would be really grateful for some guidance here :)

As I agree with you and all colleagues concerning the whole purpose of this "store fixture", this should suit quite fine. The term is used both from kitchen manufacturers and livestyle magazines and it (should) include all kinds of storage "facilities" you might have in a kitchen:
