English term or phrase: straddle
This is about a Strato seat, a chair that encourages the right sitting position. It slightly leans forward.

The design, based on the concept of ‘straddle’ not ‘saddle’, also aims to enhance function and cognitive development.

Explanation:
Ausgehend von der Übersetzung und den anderen Vorschlägen glaube ich, dass dies am besten als Übersetzung in den Satz paßt.

Reference information:
Ich kann mir nicht recht vorstellen, was der Unterschied zwischen einem Sattelstuhl und deinem Begriff ist, denn auf einem Sattelstuhl sitzt man ja in "Straddle"-Haltung, also mit gespreizten Beinen sowie auf einem Pferd (to straddle a horse). Hast du denn keine Abbildung?

My dentist uses this type of chair which looks a bit like a saddle. Have you looked in catalogues for Praxisbedarf?
