Es geht um den T1000 Weltempfänger von Braun. Der Designer (Dieter Rams) schreibt:

It (the radio) was quite a complex machine (...), but it was simple to operate, not just for *hobby radio enthusiasts*, but for the normal user as well.

*Hobby-Radiofans* usw. gefällt mir nicht so gut, aber etwas Besseres ist mir noch nicht eingefallen.
Vielleicht wißt ihr ja etwas? Sollte möglichst kurz sein.

agree  Daniel Gebauer: Funkamateure erinnert eher an Amateurfunker, aber "Radiobegeisterte" finde ich passend - es geht ja wohl eher ums Design als um die Technik

neutral  hazmatgerman (X): Keinesfalls Funkamateur, da ist die Fachkunde davor. Besser "KW-Hörer", denn darum geht es meistens.
