Place cooking grates into main body. *Grates wires* running front to back schould be toward the top side of square tubes at each end.

Der Text ist eine Bedienungsanleitung für einen Gasgrill. Und hier wird beschrieben wie man den Grillrost einlegt. Ich frage mich ob mit grates wires nicht die einzelnen Stäbe aus denen der Rost besteht gemeint ist, aber *wire* irritiert mich. Später in der Anleitung ist auch eine Abbildung der Enden des Rostes mit der Bezeichnung *leg wire*. Kann man für *wire* auch Stäbe in diesem Fall sagen?

Google mal nach "Grillrost" und "Roststäbe", da findest du einige Seiten, auf denen das so bezeichnet wird -- aber gehört habe ich den Ausdruck vorher erhlich gesagt auch noch nicht.
