I'm having trouble figuring out what a "sundaic forest" is supposed to be in German - the internet doesn't seem to want to yield any results whatsoever; the only thing I can think of is "Sunda-Wald", but I can't find any evidence of such a term, either.

Context: This is a report by an environmental organisation about the threats to biodiversity in Myanmar.

Whole sentence (edited):

"A deep-sea port and special economic zone will send a pipeline and highway link to Thailand that bisects the KKTE/Sundaic forest of the Dawna Range, thereby enabling unsustainable tourism and agriculture expansion."

(KKTE = Kayah-Karen Tenasserim Ecoregion)
