English term or phrase: carbon neutral
"This card was manufactured with environmentally friendly paper, and it was produced and sent carbon neutral."

Surprisingly I find "...sent/shipped carbon neutral" much more often than "sent carbon-neutrally" or "sent on a carbon-neutral basis". To me the latter two suggestions sound much better and I doubt the correctness of the source text (was sent carbon neutral).
Does anyone have the correct solution? Is the use of the adjective "carbon neutral", which actually describes the verb "to send" and therefore, in my opinion, the verb should rather be followed by the adverb "carbon-neutrally", is this use really correct?

Könnte mir eine Muttersprachlerin/ ein Muttersprachler helfen?

Thank you very much Vielen Dank

Klimaneutral

Explanation:
