Verglichen werden die Auswirkungen der Finanzkrise von 2008 und der Coronakrise auf den Wohnungsmarkt.

Was bedeutet "foreclosure" in Bezug auf Unternehmen? Mir fiele in diesem Zusammenhang "Unternehmensinsolvenzen" ein. Ich habe "Zwangsversteigerung", "Zwangsvollstreckung", "Pfändung" etc. gefunden, aber bezieht sich das nicht nur auf Immobilien/Grundstücke?

"A legal proceeding to terminate a mortgagor's interest in property, instituted by the lender (the mortgagee) either to gain title or to force a sale in order to satisfy the unpaid debt secured by the property"

Creifelds Rechtswörterbuch sagt zur Zwangsvollstreckung:
"das Verfahren, in dem Leistungs- und Haftungsansprüche durch staatlichen Zwang verwirklicht werden. [...] Als Parteien stehen sich in der Zwangsvollstreckung der Gläubiger und der Schuldner gegenüber.

Anscheinend wird hierbei nicht zwischen privaten und Unternehmensschuldnern unterschieden.
