The Debit rept. period shows the items that create a debit on the account such as payment run, credit memos, **return liquidations** and ad hoc journals during the reporting period selected.

Explication du client : When a partner undertakes a project for the firm XXX, XXX will advance them some money to undertake the project. As the partner spends the advance they are required to submit the details of what has been spent. This is known as a liquidation. If the partner has part of the advance left over (unspent) at the end of the project, this will need to be returned to XXX. This returning of any money is known as a returns liquidation.
