00:43 – The Feather – the first message we get

01:23 – The Brick – a not so gentle reminder

01:49 – The Truck – a massive shift to life

Today, I want to talk to you about a concept called, “The Feather, the Brick and the Truck.” Now the universe is constantly sending us messages to help us on our journey through life and to help make life easier for us. The idea of the feather, the brick and the truck is it’s the way in which the universe delivers some of these messages.

For example, the feather is the first message we get, and that’s a gentle reminder or a nudge or a push in a particular direction. An example of a feather might be two or three people telling you about the same book, course or seminar, and you think, “I should read that,” or go along to that. It might also be somebody popping into your mind and you think, “I need to contact those,” or it could be a job advert that you see two or three times and it keeps attracting your attention. So that’s examples of the universe sending you a message as a feather. If we don’t listen to the feather, then we get the brick.

The brick is not so gentle. Examples of the brick might be significant changes to your workplace, such as a new manager coming in that you struggle to get along with; or a restructure, you end up in a job that you’re not happy with. It could be health-related and suddenly you’re off work three weeks with a stress-related illness. Now if we’re still not paying attention to the brick, that’s when we get the truck.

The truck is about a massive shift to life as we know it. An example of the truck might be loss – loss of your job completely, loss of a relationship, loss of a loved one. All of a sudden we’re forced to make massive changes to our life.

So, listen to the messages that you get from the universe, in particular listen to the feather and then you won’t have to get the brick or the truck.
