stronger ... by ∆H plus fort de ∆H Explanation: ∆H simply means 'a change in the value of H' — 'delta' is commonly used like this in both languages, and is quite often spelt out in full (especially in typewriting, when no '∆' symbol is available). Another one you may come across is ∆T meaning 'a temperature change' I believe I'm right in saying that when talking about magnetic (and other) fields, we would still say 'fort' / 'faible' as we do in EN. |
