Tell me a little bit about how you foster continuing engagement with folks who have bought through the store, or for that matter, folks who maybe have visited the store, but didn't make a purchase.
Because there's obviously a lot of techniques that you can use for retargeting and so forth to get folks to return to the store.
So what kind of investments have been made there?

Guest:
First, once again, it truly depends.
What's interesting and also challenging about our brand is that the control we have over the distribution is very, very different from countries to another.
I'll give you an example.

When we are in China we are selling mostly in let's say corners and department stores, such as White Sands, for example, and there we really control our environment because we have a very developed CRM tool that allow us to really control data about the people.

So there we'll have a very precise program in order to retarget those people, to send them some newsletters, to make sure that they are aware when you have a, in this case, Cyber-Monday, you have Chinese New Year, you have Singles' Day, you have many, many important events where we run some promotion.

agree  ormiston: eh oui. Le terme en anglais semble être plutôt 'shop-in-shop' mais Corner est souvent utilisé en français. Je soupçonne que anglais devrait lire "corners IN department stores" (mauvaise transcription ?)

neutral  B D Finch: Perhaps. However, the use of the English word "corner" as a French marketing term, doesn't demonstrate that it's used that way in English. Your ref. says that this usage originated in Paris and I suspect it's only used that way in French, not English.

corner store
magasin de quartier

Explanation:

neutral  B D Finch: That's about the use of the term in French. I don't see any support for that meaning in English, even though the word is borrowed from English.
