English term or phrase: Sale area of Stores
Bonjour,

Je m'interroge sur le sens de cette phrase : "Sale area of Stores" que j'aurais tendance à traduire simplement par "points de vente" mais je m'interroge sur l'occurence du terme "Stores" attaché.

Quelqu'un aurait-il une idée?

Merci d'avance !

surface de vente des magasins
Explanation:
Impossible to give greater confidence due to lack of context.

Usually 'sales area' is 'surface de vente' (as distinct, say, from the warehouse area) (aka 'sales floor'

HOWEVER, since 'area' can also be 'superficie' (as well as 'zone'), this could be referring to the m² devoted to sales.

And as for the 'of stores', we don't know if this is stores in general or (as I suspect) the specific stores that have already been mentioned in connection with this franchise; hence a possible doubt between 'de' and 'des'...

OK, Asker, in that case, that confirms my understanding and increases my confidence in my suggestion above.
