Un(e) concierge, au sens familier, est une personne qui aime savoir ce que font ses voisins et colporte les rumeurs les concernant.

Explanation:
De nombreux synonymes, comme fouineur, fouinard, fouille-merde, impliquent une recherche physique et intrusive d'informations. "Concierge" implique une certaine discrétion, ou au moins une légitimité à être au courant de ce que font les autres. Pour l'aspect commère, potinier, bavard, jacasse, cancanier, le seul mot qui implique aussi une observation plus ou moins discrète des voisins est le mot concierge. "Curtain-twitcher" n'implique pas forcément le commérage, et donc "concierge" est une traduction pas complètement satisfaisante. C'est néanmoins à mon avis le mot de la langue française qui colle au plus près du concept.
