Dans une énumération de molécules, la présence de parenthèses autour du préfixe (meth) rend-elle optionnelle l'ajout du groupe méthyl (?), ou ne s'agit-il que d'une convention anglo-saxonne pour l'abréviation de la désignation de molécule ?

la parenthèse ici n'a rien à voir avec la nomenclature chimique. Elle est simplement utilisée pour englober en un seul terme deux composés distincts, l'acrylonitrile et le méthacrylonitrile, cela signifie 'l'acrylonitrile et/ou le méthacrylonitrile'
