It is for a user manual of a external drive and the user can set a PIN code, I have doubt if I should use Code PIN or to code NIP, I am looking for suggestions and advices

agree  Tony M: Over here in FR-FR, 'PIN' is universally used, I don't think anyone would know what a 'NIP' was; but in Canada, they are even more chauvinistic about the FR language, so they'll probably prefer the francisized version.

agree  david henrion: D'accord avec Tony, en France personne n'utilise "NIP". Mais si cette traduction est destinée au Québec alors "code NIP" est préférable.

agree  Platary (X): En France, c'est de PIN dont Il est question. En Suisse cependant, surtout dans le secteur bancaire, c'est NIP qui est de mise.
