punainen palmukärsäkäs Explanation: The Rhynchophorus -genus is a group of beetles that have a snout, and these are grouped with a term in Finnish as "kärsäkäs" (kärsä = snout [like a pig snout] or trunk [like the elephant's trunk]). Examples of this are pea weevil "hernekärsäkäs", cabbage seed weevil "rapsikärsäkäs"...
