Science - Food & Drink / Small animals food
English term or phrase: Alfalfa herbs
On the packaging of small animals food appear the following ingredients:

(ENG) Additives/kg: Nutritional additives: Vitamin A 10 000 I.U. / Vitamin D3 1500 I.U. / Vitamin E 110 mg / Vitamin C 1250 mg / Antioxidants / Colourants • Composition: Derivatives of vegetable origin (alfalfa herbs 10%), cereals, oils and fats (omega-3 fatty acids 2%), minerals.

(FIN) Lisäaineet/kg: Ravitsemukselliset lisäaineet: A-Vitamiini 10 000 KY / D3-Vitamiini 1500 KY / E-Vitamiini 110 mg / C-Vitamiini 1250 mg / Hapettumisenestoaineet / Väriaineet • Koostumus: Kasviperäisiä johdannaisia (sinimailasyrtit 10%), viljakasvit, öljyt ja rasvat (omega-3-rasvahapot 2%), mineraalit.

I don't know if the term "sinimailasyrtit" is correct (I've tried to translate it myself). Thank you for your feedback.

sinimailanen
Explanation:
alfalfa is indeed sinimailanen, and your sinimailasyrtit as a word is correct. I was only wondering, if this pea family plant is seen as 'a herb' here? Found some references to it, but often they just use simply 'sinimailanen' without the unclear 'yrtit' added. I'd just put 'sinimailanen 10 %'

ps. A-vitamiini, D-vitamiini (no capital v)
