English term or phrase: outlaying door
Se on lasiovi. Voisiko 'outlaying' liittyä jotenkin siihen, että sisällä olevat tavarat pannaan näin "näytteille"

Miltei ainoa netistä löytyvä 'outlaying door' on täällä:

http://pdf.directindustry.com/pdf/eldon/eldon-enclosure-syst...

Ja tämä on juuri se minun oveni, ja minun pitäisi keksiä miksi se "outlayaa".

Finnish translation:kehystetty ovi
Explanation:
If you look at the corresponding page in Spanish, the term is puerta envolvente, badly translated as "out-laying door". What is meant is a framed door (kehystetty ovi) in a free-standing (vapaastiseisova) unit. The flush door (puerta empotrada) is flush with the wall into which the unit is set. The Spanish translator makes the mistake of confusing flush with flush-fitting. Flush door is laakaovi. A flush-fitting door is upotettu ovi.

Voi P... S... V...! (Damn it!). Desmond, I must trust that you are correct. There should be an at least 20 euro extra charge for every mistranslation in original text, so they would begin to have their English translation being checked by English natives.

Explanation:
outlaying also (apart from financial contexts) means something that is not incorporated, i.e. external, like outlaying territories or areas. looking at the pictures in your link, one door is flush, i.e. tasalla oleva, tasapintainen, sileä ympäröivän seinän kanssa; the outlaying door would therefore appear to be "erillinen", "erillään oleva", "ulostuleva", "ulkoneva" . Would this make any sense to you at all?
