موقعیت های مختلف را که ممکن است سرکوب یا انکار کرده باشد
Explanation:
"that" in this phrase refers to the negative emotions, stress and shame.
And I think سرکوب would be a better equivalent for block.

بیمار قادر خواهد بود احساسات منفی و استرس و حس شرم مرتبط با موقعیت های مختلف را که ممکن است سرکوب یا انکار کرده باشد، کشف و ابراز کند.

It's a good option but I personally don't use dashes in my translations :-)

Asker: I don't think "مسدود کردن" collocates with "موقعیت" in Farsi. I'd say it would probably still be understood with context but it doesn't sound as natural or as clear. Thank you.

Asker: "that may have been blocked or denied" is different from that may be blocked or denied. You've written که می‌توان از آنها جلوگیری یا امتناع کرد, while it's saying که ممکن است از آنها جلوگیری یا امتناع کرده باشد. "may have been" can only be about the past.

Asker: It's not a matter of machine translation, it's a matter of understanding the function of each verb tense. I didn't say there's a difference between می‌تواند and ممکن است. Read my note above once more, please. You confused "May + be + pp" with "May+have+ pp". These two are different semantically. Your translation: موقعیت‌هایی که می‌توان از آنها جلوگیری کرد What the text says: موقعیت‌هایی که ممکن است از آنها جلوگیری شده باشد What you wrote suggests that one tries to avoid those situations in the FUTURE, while the text says one may have avoided these situations in the PAST.
