abutment Explanation: 'abutment' is een heel gebruikelijke term in de tandheelkunde abutmentschroef het alternatief zou 'opbouw' zijn ik vertaal documenten voor Zimmer Dental en gebruik (moet gebruiken) dan 'abutment' Bij het twee-fasen implantaat wordt in de eerste fase het implantaat deel in het bot geplaatst en vervolgens weer met tandvlees bedekt. Een aantal maanden later, als het implantaat ingegroeid is in het bot, volgt de tweede-fase waarbij op het ingegroeide implantaat een zogenaamd (healing) abutment geplaatst wordt.
