Well, you know what dog farts are, I guess. Hondenscheten is the literal translation. Apparently someone translated the name of this candy, which really exists, into English (hondenscheten = dog farts), then told you it's a Dutch kind of licorice. 'Hondenscheten' fall into the same category as 'meeuwenpoep' (seagulls'droppings) and 'eendenkroos' Apparently, such names are irresistable to kids ..

Bonbon Land is een pretpark dichtbij Næstved, met massa\'s attracties, allemaal genaamd naar de beroemde Deense snoepjes van Bonbon, die zo gekend zijn voor hun grappige namen zoals <B>\'hondenscheten\'</B>, \'meeuwenpoep\' en \'eendenkroos\'.
