Dutch interface, anyone? 19:48 Jul 27, 2010
I use graphics programs and use the term all the time, but don't have a Dutch GUI. MSWord also uses the term for snapping objects to a grid. If someone with a Dutch GUI can folow these instructions, you should arrive at the Dutch term for 'snap':
Turn on the snap-to options 1.Click the shape or object (object: A table, chart, graphic, equation, or other form of information. Objects created in one application, for example spreadsheets, and linked or embedded in another application are OLE objects.) in the document.
2.Under Drawing Tools on the Format tab, in the Arrange group, click Align , and then click Grid Settings.
If you do not see the Drawing Tools or Format tabs, make sure that you clicked a shape or an object.
3.Do one or both of the following:
To position shapes or objects to the closest intersection of the grid even when the grid is not visible, under Show grid, select the Snap objects to grid when the gridlines are not displayed check box. |
