Ham center slice is a specific cut of meat from the leg of a pig. It is generated whenever a full bone in ham is cut into two halves, and it is often sold separately, since it is considered a delicacy in some regions. As a general rule, the ham center slice is more juicy, tender, and flavorful, and it can be used in a variety of dishes. In the American South especially, ham center slice is a popular holiday brunch food.

plátek z ořechu šunky
Explanation:
"Nejmenší šunka v síťce zvaná ořech mívá půldruhého kilogramu."

italsky: culatello

"If you ask an Italian amatore of cold cuts to name the best, the answer will probably be -- with no hesitation at all -- Culatello. The word culatello means "little backside" and refers to the fact that culatello is made from the major muscle group one finds in a prosciutto -- Burton Anderson calls it the Fillet -- seasoned and lightly salted, stuffed into a pig's bladder, tied to give it a pear-like shape, and then hung 8-12 months to cure in farm buildings in the Bassa Parmense, not far from the Po River, where the mist swirls through the windows, interacts with the molds on the walls, and imparts a hauntingly elusive something that makes all other cold cuts pale by comparison. příčně krájená šunka

Explanation:

Also referred to as center cut ham steak, this cut is approximately ½ to 1 inch thick and is sliced from the center of the leg primal cut. It is available as a fresh cut of meat or it can be cured and smoked. The ham center slice may be found boneless or with a small circular bone included. It can also be found fully cooked and ready to serve.
