alternativní technologie Explanation: Also "not-in-kind technology" it would seem according to Google. Myslím, že "not-in-kind" je v tomto případě v podstatě synonymem "alternative". Podle mě to znamená, že se tyto technologie naprosto liší od těch předchozích, viz příklad. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 56 mins (2011-11-06 00:37:02 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- lowed before the change can be implemented. (Je to z jiného oboru, ale chtěla jsem pouze poukázat na ten termín.) -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 58 mins (2011-11-06 00:39:05 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- N.B.

Abbr. CFC Any of various halocarbon compounds consisting of carbon, hydrogen, chlorine, and fluorine, once used widely as aerosol propellants and refrigerants. Chlorofluorocarbons are believed to cause depletion of the atmospheric ozone layer http://www.ciesin.org/docs/011-459/011-459.html New systems, materials, and processes that represent potential CFC replacement technologies are being developed rapidly. Technology options already available or identified by the user industries as their primary development focus for first generation replacement of CFCs, whether fluorocarbon or not-in-kind (non-fluorocarbon) alternatives, were given first consideration with regard to quantitative analysis of their DIRECT and INDIRECT effects and their TEWI. These are referred to as "current generation" alternative technologies in this report and are distinguished from "next generation" alternative technologies. http://www.ciesin.org/docs/011-459/011-459.html -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 4 hrs (2011-11-06 03:50:21 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- But we've since learned that F-gases are not an “environmental alternative” at all. They’re responsible for some 17% of cumulative greenhouse gases currently in our atmosphere (as of 2005). Some F-gases actually have a "Global Warming Potential" (GWP) value that is thousands of times higher than carbon dioxide. (Check out this chart on the EPA’s website for more info). http://news.change.org/stories/f-gases-the-worst-greenhouse-... |
