Teorie arbitrážního oceňování (arbitrage pricing theory – APT) je alternativní model oceňování cenných papírů, který vytvořil Steve Ross v roce 1976. APT vypadá podobně jako model oceňování kapitálových aktiv CAPM, avšak jedná se o zcela rozdílný přístup. Musílek (2011) tvrdí, že zatímco je CAPM založen na teorii užitku, teorie arbitrážního oceňování neříká nic o preferencích investorů. Arbitrážní teorie je
místo toho založena na zákonu jedné ceny pro identická zboží.
