And one of the meanings of "override" has to do with a safety feature found in many installations: an "override" switch / button / lever ... has an absolute priority over any other setting/command.

As is the case here:

This keyswitch is used to de-activate all interlocks

In other words, when this "safety interlock override keyswitch" is activated whatever are the current settings of any interlock, they get all "deactivated" i.e. ALL locks open.

safety interlock override keyswitch = a keyswitch (switch activated with a key?) that overrides all settings of safety interlocks i.e. you no longer need to close one gate of the interlock to be able to open the other gate.

There is already a number of questions about "override" in this meaning - might be a good starting point to find a translation into Croatian.
