The dynamic interactions between a virus and its host are critical for the establishment of acute infections and/or the maintenance of persistent infections, and for the manifestation of the disease.

Ekaterina Kroumova По правилата за българския правопис, когато значението на един израз е "между А и Б", той се пише с тире (предполагащо пробел от двете страни), а не с дефис. Ясно ми е, че в тази среда тире трудно може да се получи, но поне разстоянията следва да бъдат спазени. Иначе съчетанието се възприема като сложно съществително, изписвано полуслято, а то не е такова. Това за протокола, не се заяждам :)
