scintillate: يطلق شرراً، يطلق شيئاً بطريقة شبيهة بإطلاق الشرر
و قَدَحَ النَّارَ مِنَ الزَّنْدِ : أَخْرَجَ النَّارَ مِنْهُ
و قَدَحَ بِالزَّنْدِ : ضَرَبَ بِهِ حَجَرَهُ لإِخْرَاجِ النَّارِ مِنْهُ
' When struck ' = استخدام وزن انفعل
وهو ما يجعل ماضي الفعل انقدح fluoresce momentarily
والمصدر انقداح
لكون الانقداح ياتي بعد الفعل الاصلي - و كرد فعل عليه - وهو القدح
لذا اختير الوزن انفعل
