إعطاء المستهلكين المختلفين أسعاراً مختلفة لنفس السلعة أو الخدمة. تقوم العديد من الشركات اليوم باستخدام التسعير التفاضلي وأبرزها شركات الطيران، حيث يعتمد سعر تذكرة الطيران من مدينة لأخرى على عدد من المتغيرات يأتي من ضمنها تاريخ السفر والوقت المنقضي قبل العودة. وقد يأخذ التسعير التفاضلي نمط تقديم أسعار مختلفة لمستهلكين مختلفين ولكن لأشكال متباينة لنفس السلعة أو الخدمة بحيث يكون الفارق في الأسعار غير مبرَّر أو يفوق ما يمكن تبريره بمجرد الاختلاف في شكل المنتج.
