والرَّفَثُ أَيضاً : الفُحْشُ من القول ، وكلام النساءِ في الجماع ؛ تقول منه : رَفَثَ الرجل وأَرْفَثَ ؛ وقد رَفَثَ بها ومَعها .

وقال غيره : الرَّفَثُ كلمة جامعة لكل ما يريده الرجلُ من المرأَة
