Degët e tufës së Hiss-it ndahen në degën e djathtë dhe në degën e majtë. Të dyja degët "udhëtojnë" përgjatë septumit ndërventrikular në drejtim të apeksit të zemrës. E vetmja rrugë për përçimin e impulsit nga atriumet në ventrikuj është NAV (nyja atrioventrikulare). Çdo dëmtim i NAV pengon kalimin e impulsit nga NSA (nyja sinoatriale) drejt ventrikujve, defekt ky që në gjuhën klinike njihet me termin BLLOK KARDIAK.
