Danke Henk und Arnold (für die Anmerkung). Seilmatte klingt zwar nicht optimal, aber Sisal scheint mir auch zu speziell, und ich denke, die Abbildung des Produkts spricht dann für sich.

neutral  Arnold van Druten: Seilmatte klinkt etwas ungewöhnlich auf Deutsch. Sisalmatte ist m.E. geläufiger. Als de grondstof voor touw een naturproduct is (hoeft niet persé van de agave te zijn), spreken we hier wel van Sisalmatte of Sisalteppich. Niet bij kokos, wol of katoen.

ich wolltel Henk nicht in die Quere kommen, aber hier möchte ich doch eingreifen. Schau doch mal in Google.de nach "Seilmatte" [Link 1] und dann nach "Sisalmatte" [Link 2] und überlege, ob du deine Wortwahl doch nicht revidieren willst. Ich lebe seit 45 Jahren in D und kenne mich damit aus.
