Es gilt noch immer die alte Definition (hier aus 1893): "Das Hauptbuch enthält persönliche (Personen-) Konten (solche, welche über die Geschäfte mit Geschäftsfreunden bestehen) und unpersönliche oder Sachkonten (für Waaren, Wechsel, baar Geld, Handlungsunkosten etc. )"
Sachkonto alleine ist zu einengend.
