Why isn't there a bird category?? Hope there are some bird fanciers among you zoology specialists!

I've a feeling I'm going to regret taking on this job.... Can anyone confirm the common names for these? There is a LOT of confusing and conflicting information out there! Any tips on bird glossaries would be useful too ;-) Information will appear on the bird seed packet.

Not a lot of support for "position canaries", I'm afraid (not even your link), but more for "posture canaries". Your link suggests that they might also generally be termed "type" canaries ("Any variety of canary that is raised for novel appearance as opposed to song or color is called a "Type" Canary"). As far as the first two are concerned, other options are "singing", "coloured" and "colourbred". But to be honest I decided in the end to skim over the specifics and opted for "all types of canaries" (this was based on the client's website, which I checked out later). Thanks!
