Okay, this once again is a contextual question to do with using a bunch of subtly-related/intertwined terms alongside each other.

This section of my source text lists different forms of collateral that may be provided to obtain a (mortgage) loan (property, houseboat, land owned by the applicant, etc.).

For each of those, it states in what way this should be formalised exactly--i.e. the bank must be given a first or second charge over the property. This "category" in this huge table is called "Zekerheid te verkrijgen door:"

OK, so in this context, what, in your opinion, is "zekerheid"?
"Security"?
Or perhaps: "Security interest"?

I feel like it isn't about "obtaining the collateral"---after all, it's technically, specifically, about "obtaining the right to use it as collateral", if that nuance makes any sense to someone who hasn't been staring at this document for the past few hours/days/weeks of their life. . .?
