empathy and stress resistance
Explanation:
In this sense, the E 'rapport' is only mainly used in education (meaning relationship to students and colleagues, so groups of other people at the work-place), but it can clearly have this meaning in clinical circumstances towards patients. Patients also often have stress, so the medical person has to be able to handle this in a kind way, and so I suggest this word for weerstand. Only an idea, hope it helps.

Notes to answerer
Asker: Thank you Peter. Your explanation is similar to the job description I found on the internet. Resistance was mentioned but stress resistance is more accurate.

agree  Tina Vonhof (X): But I would keep the word 'rapport' - that would be used in English as well.

-> Thanks, Tina, that is also true, I just wasn't sure in this context.

agree  Barend van Zadelhoff: 'weerstand' is een hele vreemde benaming voor stressbestendigheid/incasseringsvermogen. 'rapport' begreep ik wel, maar 'weerstand'? Use: rapport. // In de context is het wel aannemelijk.
