My only worry (if you can call it that ;)) is that she could land in a job where she is not allowed to do anything that has to do with what she was taught, i.e. healthcare assistant, because the decision maker does not want to run the risk. Maybe her own suggestion of 'assistant nurse' is a good one.

I understand your wish to provide an accurate description of the qualification but I agree with Phil that it is not your job to find the UK equivalent. What I find useful in situations like this is to add a transcript of marks, listing all the subjects the client has taken. That will help the decision makers to properly assess the qualification.

I think you're going beyond the call of duty here. Deciding what extra qualifications she needs to work in the UK (which seems to be the implication of your question) is not your problem - you should just translate it in a way that makes clear what the Dutch means.
