directional cone Explanation: I think I'd go for 'directional cone' here. See www.lania.mx/~ccoello/EMOO/brown03.pdf.gz , for example: "In describing the theory, insight is gained into the structure of the multiobjective problem by analyzing the geometry of the **directional cones** at different stages of learning. Reasons for the apparently rapid rate of initial convergence (but poor rate of final convergence) in typical multi-objective EC algorithms are also described." or google 'directional cone' in combination with 'geometry'. An analogy: richtmicrofoon = directional microphone. |
