toe portion Explanation: It could mean the toe portion; or front part of toe portion (of the horse shoe). The shoe has a toe portion and two side portions. I would ask for a diagram of the product. If you google horse shoe patents you will find lots of descriptions of differents parts of the horse shoe. It can get quite complex. Een opzet in het hoefijzer wil zeggen dat het hoefijzer een afrolling in het toongedeelte gesmeed krijgt waardoor de hoef makkelijker ‘over de teen’ rolt in de beweging.
