Nergens vind ik waar die (V) voor staat in de inleiding bij arresten van de Hoge Raad.
In het lijstje met de instantie, Datum, Magistraten, Zaaknummer, LJN, enz. staat er, bijvoorbeeld:

De meeste vakgebieden in arresten staan vermeld met een (V) erachter, maar ik vind nergens waar die V voor staat.

Asker: Thanks for trying. I searched thoroughly and it isn't explained anywhere, except perhaps as 'Vindplaats' but the sources are already listed so it's a mystery.

neutral  Barend van Zadelhoff: Does not make sense. It says e.g.: Verbintenissenrecht (V). Obviously, 'Verbintenissenrecht' is no 'Vreemdelingenrecht'.
