Bus/Financial - Finance (general) / Balance sheet item
Dutch term or phrase: Betalingen onderweg
No other context than that this is a balance sheet item. I assume they mean payments that are being made during the production of the balance sheet?

Payments processing

Explanation:
Suggestie. Have been processed zou ook kunnen. Onderweg is natuurlijk meer spreektaal maar dat komt wel vaker voor. Mogelijk ook nog 'have been sent.' Dan zijn ze letterlijk onderweg, als check of overmaking.

agree  philgoddard: "Being processed" would work, but not "processing". Or you could say "in transit" or "pending". The exact meaning doesn't matter - perhaps they're being held up by the bank.

-> I recently did a large job with lots of these terms for an app. This would perfectly fit that context, so that's where I was coming from.

agree  Tina Vonhof (X): Sounds like a bank term to me but 'in progress' would also work I think.

-> Was not happy with in progress which is why I made the entry.

agree  Kitty Brussaard: Indeed, 'in transit' (cf. 'deposits in transit') and not 'in progress'. In fact, this option was already suggested by Phil (see his comment to Lianne's answer above).
55 mins
-> But Phil agreed with in progress. There can be all sorts of reasons for "in progress" such as administrative hangups which are not the same as "in transit".

agree  Bryan Crumpler: "Remittances in transit" (also an option, esp. for accounting)

Running payments

Explanation:
I would translate as running payments, that haven't been finalized yet.
