So happy to hear back from you, So happy to hear back from you. I hope you will find your linguistic way-ay-ay, I hope you will find your linguisitic way-ay-ay. I would like good luck to say-ay-ay, I would like good luck to say-ay-ay.
Good luck! :-)

Hi, here I am again!
The Lady, the Lady, She keeps me at bay-ay-ay, She keeps me at bay-ay-ay. And now I have no more to say-ay-ay, And now I have no more to say-ay-ay. So sadly have to leave this place, So sadly have to leave this place.
she must be quite the specialist at offshore wind turbines, substations, etc. by now. not really my thing, so it's all guesswork to me (personally) fun to puzzle over if you have time, but I'm doing my taxes at the moment, so this speurtocht will sadly have to end here for me
I think we are all just guessing. Nothing wrong with guessing, it's part of our job description, but guessing nonetheless. Myself, I've never built a wind turbine out at sea, so I'm having a hard time visualising any of this. Props to Emma for trying though.

The electricity cable goes up into the wind turbine in a J-tube (cable riser), the other end of which culminates in a curve (the curved part of the J shape) on the seabed. It is this cable which is then connected to the "verdeelschakelaar".
What confuses me is that this connection happens *inside* the wind turbine. Like, if it were one distribution switchboard it was being connected to, wouldn't that happen externally? And if it's inside the wind turbine, what is the single distribution switch doing by itself?
Verdeelschakelaar is usually a distribution switch and is on a verdeelschakelbord or a distribution switchboard. Unless there is something in your context which indicates otherwise, this would be the obvious meaning.
