Dutch term or phrase: witbierkwark
Dear all,

I am translating a menu from Dutch to English for a restaurant. The term is part of the menu and is placed under the paragraph 'Desserts' and under subparagraph 'Gekarameliseerde witte chocola'.

Thanks a lot!

English translation:Quark containing White Ale
Explanation:
or Quark prepared using White Ale. I think for the purposes of a menu, these descriptive options would be preferable to simply saying "White Ale Quark", but the choice is yours.

This appears to be a house speciality, unique to a certain restaurant (Echoput), so you may wish to go with a descriptive option - "White Ale Quark"would only leave a guest with questions - why not ask the client for guidance - they can't hang you for it, in fact they may feel flattered.

agree  Michael Beijer: I suppose "White Ale Quark" would leave me with about as many questions as the Dutch "witbierkwark". Since it's a menu, there is definitely room for being creative.
