Character in the actor sense, a 'character actor', one whose face expresses a certain, well.. er..., character, personality or occupation. They are never in the leading role.

Then use 'characterful' rather than 'characteristic'! In movie jargon, they would probably say 'character face', eg., he has a good character face.

I have a look at this site and I also didn`t found a way to change my choice. I beg my pardon and wish you succes!
