Dutch term or phrase: locatievoorstelling
X is een reizende locatievoorstelling voor een breed en divers publiek die zich uitstekend leent voor festivals. Hij kan geplaatst worden in fabriekshallen, leegstaande kerken, loodsen en de
(grotere) vlakkevloertheaters.
It's not 'site specific' because it is a touring show.
On the web I also found the locatievoorstelling Trojaanse Vrouwen, which "speelt op locatie in Den Haag." ('on location' is only used for film in English)

English translation:site-specific performance
Explanation:
At first, I thought the term "on location" was pretty accurate. In cinema, it means (as you know, of course) that the scene or movie is shot outside the confines of a studio. Mutatis mutandi, the same could be said in regard to a theatrical performance.

But when I googled "on location performance", I came across another term that seemed more fitting: site-specific. See the link below for a definition.

I am aware that the term "site-specific" refers to those performances which can only be held outside a conventional theatre, whereas "locatievoorstelling" can refer to any old performance which happens to be put on in a setting other than a theatre. But in your context, i think it fits.

I'll give it another try : "off-stage performance" or "on-site performance"?
