(I always thought that the "Works Council" was a labour-management committee, but the definition below says it is composed of labour representatives only.)

Asker: Thanks for the link. ~~~ Am still pondering this. Since my text is about a Dutch firm though, I think it would be best to use the standard English translation of the Dutch term (ondernemingsraad) "works council".
