Explanation:
I think it might be trade vessel. I googled "indhandling", and it seems to refer to trade. Gyldendal's online dictionary has it as purchase or procurement, but personally I think trade vessel sounds better.

Asker: I found your last link (Wiki) yesterday, thanks to Diarmuid. It convinced me... factory ship is the word! I also found articles from a Greenlandic news source, saying that with the introduction of such vessel, on-ground workers would loose their jobs! Factory ship employed for processing and storing the fish, definitely!
